Ramifications of a failing memory

Initially, as I sat down to write this, I was aiming to examine the Sports Direct mug. However, a quick Google search revealed that this idea may be plagiarized. Which in turn made me wonder if I had read this and forgotten, or if my mind is slowly turning to soup.

The points I wanted to make about the Sports Direct mug were:
1) This mug seems like a good idea and then largely turns out to be a nuisance (rather like Sports Direct).
2) There must be obvious parallels to be drawn between the mug (large and empty) and Sports Direct (large and empty).
3)There must be obvious parallels to be drawn between the mug (large and evil) and the Sports Direct owner and mug producer, Mike Ashley (Mike Ashley)
4)There must be obvious parallels to be drawn between the mug and the Sports Direct owner and mug producers football clubs, Newcastle Utd and The Rangers. (You’re going down and you know you are.)

Instead of pursuing this obvious and rather well beaten track I will reexamine my own mug. Also, as so many people online seem to be making their livelihood through similar, slightly contemptible comparative articles, I shall break the trend and spread the love.

My Brain

My Brain is made of mushy stuff
that often thinks of soup
My Brain runs and maintains
my body which makes poop
My Body runs and runs and runs
and sometimes falls asleep
My Body runs and runs and runs
and sometimes has to eat
My body was designed to run
My brain designed to think
Together they’re the perfect team
If they were separated I’d very likely die.

That wasn’t the feel good poem it started out to be. It certainly wasn’t that hateful either, which should be celebrated with a rap about hate.

Hate!

Hate is a serious problem, yo!
Make you do fucked up shit like you whacked out on sno!
So, I recommend that quit it,
Unless you insist.
In which case, hate!
(But never refer to yourself or others as a hater, that is a detestable and made up phrase.)
(Also, don’t sing when you don’t know the song, that is so annoying.)

(Chorus)
Hate
Hate
Hate
Yeah!

I can’t quite remember the initial point of this piece but I feel like I have just written a quite beautiful song.
